ANNUAL DAY 2017

Wednesday, 20 December 2017marked itself as a precious memory for Maxfort School Rohini as the school celebrated its much awaited Annual Day 2017-“Renaissance-Reforming Life” on this blissful evening. The venue for this celebration of creativity and talent was the most prestigious, Siri Fort Auditorium. The ambience transformed to happiness and joviality as the students replete with energy and enthusiasm showcased their skillful endeavours through various scintillating performances.

The honored guests for the day were Dr. Biswajit Saha, Additional Director of Education, CBSE and Sadhvi Pragya Bharti, Director SAM, a powerful youth engagement program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan. The master presentation was graced by the dignified presence of  Mr Sanjeev Khanna , Manager, Maxfort School, Rohini and the galaxy of principals of distinguished schools.

 

God is the soul inspiration behind all dedicated efforts and adhering to the same, the program began with beseeching the blessings of Almighty through a Prayer Dance Presentation, Hanuman Chalisa . The Annual Day was formally initiated with the traditional lamp lighting ceremonyby the honoured guests and the other dignitaries.

 

Our honourable Principal ma’am, Dr Ratna Chakravarty, in her inspirational address emphasized on the  development of new-age learners with the essentials of  Confidence, Character, Communicative Skills and Competence to prove their mettle in the modern world. Respected ma’am, the able mentor, also congratulated all the achievers for their accomplishments in their fields of action.

 

The honored guest, the prolific educationist, Dr Biswajit Saha, reiterated upon the grooming of all-rounders with an equal footing over academic and co-curricular fronts. He also expressed his immense happiness to be at the Annual Day 2017 of Maxfort School Rohini. The revered guest, Sadhvi Pragya Bharti, the motivational speaker who has provided vision to the youth of India was much elated by the grandeur of this extravagant program. In her wise words, she elaborated that the school and the parents are the equal contributors in the upliftment of the young minds. Adding to her golden words, she quoted many famous personalities infusing motivation in the students, parents and the facilitators.

 

 

The Annual Day was a real treat with multifarious events like dance, music and theatre.  The young shining stars of Pre-School and Pre-Primary donned as the various forest creatures rocked the stage with their mesimerising dance presentation “Jungle Jumbooree”. The ardor of “unity in diversity” of our incredible motherland, India, was invoked by the “Musical Delight” wherein the choir group of the school transcended the audience in aura of nationalism through the melodious delineation.

 

Theatre is about challenging how we think and encouraging us to fantasize about a world we aspire to. Maxfortians amazed everyone with their thought provoking and inspirational theatrical output. The play entitled “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan” presented by the young artisans was highly soul-searching questioning the definition of cleanliness. It encouraged the audience to uphold the dream of Gandhiji for a clean India. The master presentation “Enlightenment”  by students of Classes VI to XI provided the much-needed impetus to all present. The great Statesman, Chankya, a prominent figure of the history of India, showed the path of righteousness to all the viewers.

 

The remarkable voyage of expertise came to end with the stupendous Grand Finale by all the participants who gave their heart and soul in the success of Annual Day 2017. At the end, Muskaan Malhotra , the Head Girl of the school presented, the Vote of Thanks, extending gratitude to all for gracing the event with their precious time. Eventually, one more marvel of accomplishment, “Annual Day 2017”, rejuvenated the audiences with the galvanizing presentations, giving new hopes, a serene path and dreams for prosperity.
