Diwali - Festival of lights

Diwali an occasion to celebrate victory over defeat, light over darkness, awareness over ignorance, an occasion to celebrate life. Maxfort School Rohini cherishes all the festivals withgreat grandeur and excitement. It was the time to celebrate the biggest of all, the mega-festival i.e. Diwali. This joyous festivity was celebrated on Tuesday, 17 October 2017 in the school premises. The whole school immersed in the spirit of piousness and serenity to relish the victory of good over evil. Special assemblies were organized by Grade V and XI. The programme began with a meaningful prayer service highlighting the message of Diwali, invoking God’s blessings and thanking him for his assistance and guidance.  This was followed by the traditional lighting by Rev. Principal ma’am Dr. Ratna Chakravartyl.Skits, dance and music created a delightful treat for all present. The creative extravaganza pervaded the unique message of helping the poor and needy on this auspicious occasion by sharing the resources with the deprived ones and spreading the aura of happiness all around.  All the participants rocked the show with the blend of cosmic tune and divine vision. Our honourable Principal ma’am with her words of wisdom motivated the Maxfortians to celebrate a pollution-free Diwali and taught a lesson of Tamso ma Jyotirgarmay. Skit presented by grade XI benevolent message of “Say No to Crackers”. Besides sensitizing students to the ill-effects of crackers,Spectators were told about the contribution of some of our legendary Gurus and everyone saluted and bowed down in gratitude towards them. Eventually Diwali feast was organised for the facilitators wherein everyone sank in the gala time and celebrated the festival of lights as The Maxfort Family.
