Intra Class Taekwondo Activity (2017-18) Class VII

Its well said thatsports is the common denominator in the world that brings everyone together. If there's any one place in the world where there is equality, it is probably sports. That was something that didn't always exist. We've come a long way in sports. Why can't society use sports as a way to bring people together and create change?
Maxfort  has always been an enthusiastic or driving force for producing the agile and fit students. One of the attempts in this direction included the Intra class Taekwondo activity for class VII. The enriching activity was held on 17 and 18 August,2017.                                                                                       Taekwondois a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. Taekwondo was developed during the 1940s and 1950s by various martial artists by incorporating elements of karateand Chinese martial artswith traditional Korean martial arts traditions such as Taekkyeon, Subak, and Gwonbeop. The oldest governing body for taekwondo is the Korea Taekwondo Association(KTA), formed in 1959 through a collaborative effort by representatives from the nine original kwans, or martial arts schools, in Korea. The activityprovided a fitness mantra to the young Maxfortians and taught them punching, blocks and self defence. The young ones who came out with distinct colours included Piyush Das and Sukriti Mittal from class VII A;  Samvardhan Tiwari and Kashish Arora from VII B and Raghav Choudhary and Ayushi sharma from VII C ; Jeevika and Dhruv Kothari from VII D and Harshil Mehra and Os Jain from VII E.
